Recent HubSpot Projects

Some highlights of projects I've worked on in the last couple of years:

molestreet.com

Winter 2025

I was project lead on this website, working with a junior developer on the initial development, and then keeping things organized when two additional developers were pulled in at the end of the project to meet an accelerated deadline. This included:

  • Setting up the codebase in a way that was easy to use and scalable (and making sure everyone on the team understood and maintained the setup)
  • Using HubL macros, Field.JS partials, and SCSS mixins to create a modular, scalable website
  • Working closely with the designers over a few months to create a design system that aligned with the code and could be a blueprint for future projects

vsga.org - Listing Module

Fall 2024

This projected involved creating a new listing module for the client, which used GraphQL to load CRM data for companies. The final projected never launched.

  • Listing cards pull in CRM and HubDB data
  • Cards link to dynamic pages (which are unfortunately not currently enabled for demo) based on if a company property is set to true or not
  • The URL parameters update based on the filter settings

betterment.com

Fall 2024

In the fall, I integrated fully with Betterment’s team for three months to do front-end work on their public website and meet an accelerated rebrand timeline.

rlc.edu

Spring 2024

This was a full site build for a community college in Illinois. It involved creating a custom theme, migrating content from their old CMS, and training the client on HubSpot.

A favorite module of mine is the events calendar. This HubSpot module uses vanilla Javascript to load events from a HubDB table and links to a dynamic page for each event.

achievementnetwork.org

Winter 2024

Another solo development project, this site build also included custom theme and module creation, migrating content, and training the client.

The map module was one of the more fun (and complicated) pieces to build. It involved a lot of customization of the SVG code to get the map markers to be positioned correctly on the state, and to show/hide the content based on which states have been added in the page editor.

psecu.com

Fall 2023, Spring 2024

My first project at Mole Street, I joined mid-way through the initial development of this site and saw it through completion, QA, and later updates.

  • Because this project used custom modules laid out with HubSpot's drag-and-drop editor, this project involved creating many custom sections and templates and passing the correct default content to each one.

I later created programable email templates for the client that utilized HubDB and CRM data
